It goes without saying the riding together is more fun. Brite’s Meet Ups began during the pandemic and have now evolved to be an annual training services offered for Brite athletes and our surrounding community of athletes. The training rides are targeted to cyclists, gravel riders, triathletes and anyone using the bike for fitness development. They are athlete centric and performance oriented.
The workout and Zoom link will be distributed a week prior to registered riders. Riders gather on Zoom via one device and Zwift by another device. Rider avatars all meet on Zwift and in person on Zoom. Christine will guide athletes through the entire workout in a no-drop format. This is both a dynamic and interactive experience. Riders can chime in anytime to contribute to the overall fun experience and encourage everyone along the way. Please educate yourself on how to get set up on Zwift, upload workouts and join a meet up. When you get it right, the group ride is a blast and we want you there.
Getting Yourself Set Up on Zwift:
1) Ideally you are riding a smart trainer (other options are possible)
2) Sign up for a Zwift Account & set up avatar, FTP and learn how to use the Zwift Companion App
3) educate yourself on how to upload a Workout Builder into Zwift (instructions)
4) educate yourself on how to join a Group Meet Up
5) register here for the series
6) once you are registered for the series, you will be invited to join the Group Meet Up on your companion app.
Riders will work through aerobic base building sessions, strength/low rpm work, short high intensities and aerobic power. We will end the year with sustainable power work sets. Riders will be guaranteed to re-enter the 2026 riding season with a newfound level of fitness and strength on the bike. The potential for everyone is very exciting.
