WHATS YOUR STORY?
We all have a story.
Our story brought us to where we are today. Our story is a thread of preceding stories weaved together. Our story is something we want to own. How we narrate our story dictates how we are perceived, understood and connected to others. Whether it’s the stories we tell ourselves or the stories others tell us, stories are far more than sheer entertainment. Storytelling is an integral part of what it means to be human. Understanding your stories and studying its underpinning principles are endeavours worthy of your time and attention. If you don't like your story, change how you tell it.
We love a good story. In fact we gravitate to storytellers. And when we meet an athlete or get to know an athlete, we want to hear their story. Listening to an athlete talk through their background, their goals, a simple training session or a race experience enlightens us to no end. The way they tell their story helps us coach and lead them immeasurably using sport as the platform to growth. Below you will read about three Brite Athletes with unique and impactful stories that lead them to their own success. We feel honoured and privileged to play a small role in their story.
